Opened in 1870, the Roscoe Head is one of the few pubs in Liverpool, if not Great Britain, to have survived the onslaught of the large pub chains. A family run business for over 35 years, offering a warm and friendly welcome to all.
Consisting of a main bar, two small rooms and a tiny snug, conversation definitely rules at this establishment.
There is no jukebox or fruit machine – just good beer and a warm welcome, all delivered by friendly and well-trained staff.
The only pub in Liverpool to appear in all the Camra Good Beer Guide since first published in 1974.
