Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with the receiving, labelling and laboratory analysis of samples and chemicals in line with documented Quality and EHS Procedures

• Gain an understanding of the methods and storage of all data and results in the stipulated format (paper and electronic)

• Assist in maintenance of the Laboratory equipment as necessary

• Assist with the ordering of Laboratory supplies to facilitate testing as required

• Follow all Laboratory  and site safety guidelines and procedures are followed at all times.

• Maintain a clean orderly environment at all time

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• This opportunity is available to students studying on the BTEC Diploma/Extended Diploma in Applied Science

• Have completed secondary education and attained at least 5 GCSE’s or equivalent to include English and Maths

• Good organisational and planning skills

• Shows dedication and pride in their work

• Display analytical skills, work accurately and quickly

• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise work assigned to them
