Achievement Coaches

Achievement Coaches are here to help you overcome any barriers with your studies. They work with students outside the classroom, on a one-to-one basis, and help with catching up on overdue class work, planning and organising workload, exam revision, motivation and study skills.

Testimonials From Students

“Phil was committed to helping me with my work from day one.  He made me feel completely welcome during our sessions, but what I appreciated most was his genuine happiness and determination to help me.  His overall energy and positivity was such a motivation, which I really needed at the time.  I would never have dreamed in achieving my final grade and I know for a fact it was down to Phil’s help and guidance.  In fact, the way I was headed, I probably would have dropped out completely, which I considered many times, before approaching the Learning Mentor service.  Their welcoming nature and flexibility works best for you, the student”

James, Music Technology, Arts Centre

“I was able to fully understand what was being asked of me, in my work and to develop my writing skills and thus instil me with confidence in myself and my work by helping me understand the organisation of my work and essays – and they were extremely easy to talk to.”

Megan, A-levels, Clarence St
