Student financial support during lockdown

The college has decided to continue free meal support over the lockdown period to students whose attendance was 50% or above in the last full month of term 1. (November 2020)

The payment amount will be as follows:

16-18 year old students £15.00 per week

19-24 year old students with an EHCP £15.00 per week

Adult and Advanced Learner Loan students £9.00 per week

Eligible students will receive cash payments via BACS directly into their bank account each week or voucher equivalent fortnightly by post for Asylum Seekers and other students without a bank account in their own name.

College bursaries and progress bursaries will also continue to be automatically paid during the lockdown period.

The College will also continue to fund childcare for students during lockdown, as we normally would. However the College nursery will be closed from Monday 11th January 2021 and the team have contacted all affected students to inform them of this. If you have any queries or your childcare provider is currently not open, and you would like to discuss alternative provision please contact childcare@liv-coll.ac.uk
