Rotary Christmas Shoebox Scheme

Please support student volunteers to fill 25 shoe boxes, which will be delivered to children and teenagers in orphanages, homes and hospitals in Eastern Europe this Christmas.

For children we need: Cars, trucks, tennis or bouncy balls, complete jigsaws, action figures, colouring books, pens, crayons, lego blocks, yo-yo, wooden and plastic toys, building blocks, pencil case, pencil sharpener, dominoes, playdough, fluffy toys, dolls, stickers, writing pads, skipping rope, scarf, mittens/gloves, hats and games.

For teenagers we need: Sportswear, scarf, gloves, socks, hat, football memorabilia, writing materials, games, playing cards, tennis ball, tooth brush & paste, roll-on deodorants, comb, mirror, costume jewellery, make-up, hair brush, toiletries, school stationery, sketch pad and coloured pens / pencils.

Please do not donate any of the following: Food, sweets, chocolate & drinks, battery operated toys, conflict related items (guns), matches, inflammable liquids, inflammable aerosols (e.g. deodorants & hair spray), seeds or any other living material.

Collection boxes will be in all centre libraries from Friday 9th – Monday 19th November, so please drop off any items you can from the lists above.
