Apply now for Students’ Union Vacancies!

We are looking for two students to fill the roles of Students’ Union President and Students’ Union Vice President.

These are both paid part-time jobs (£10.52 per hour) for approx. 10 hours per week and will fit around your studies; working for students in the College to ensure they are represented at all levels.

Job description

The successful applicants would be responsible for:

  • the Student’s Union (SU) budget,
  • managing the Students’ Union Parliament meetings,
  • working with the student parliament to make key decisions about how budgets should be spent and which events/campaigns the parliament would like to organise,
  • organising and running events.
As the SU President, the successful candidate would also become a College governor.

It is a great opportunity for you to gain lots of experience in a job with plenty of responsibility and be mentored by experienced staff.  It will also look great on a CV to employers or on your UCAS application.

Elections take place next week and nominations are open until 5 pm this Friday 24th September.

You can also express an interest in becoming an Executive Officer for the Students’ Union, which is a voluntary role.

  • Vice Presidents for each campus,
  • HE Officer,
  • BAME Officer,
  • LGBTQ+ Officer,
  • Women’s Officer,
  • Disabled Students’ Officer,
  • Fundraising Officer,
  • Wellbeing Officer,
  • Student Voice Officer.
