Students set to take part in Clothes Show LIVE
The College’s young students of Fashion, Art & Design and Hair & Beauty are gearing up to take part in the fashion event of the year when Liverpool welcomes the Clothes Show LIVE this summer.
The British Style Collective will host the three-day event from 7-9 July in several of the city’s most iconic locations, including Liverpool Echo Arena, the Baltic Triangle, Liverpool Cathedral and St George’s Hall.
Learners will feature in the Education Experience on Friday 7 July at the Baltic Triangle, a new one-day event for teachers and students from schools and colleges across the city. Students of fashion will present their upcycled catwalk collection at the event and dress the RECYCLED IMAGINATION rooms, where a series of displays and interative workshops are planned for visitors attending on the day.
Hair and Make-up students will be on hand to prepare the models for the eight main fashion shows taking place throughout the three-day event, with Events Management students taking on roles as behind the scenes crew.
The Clothes Show LIVE is one of the many events taking place throughout the year that offers students the chance for real work experience and an opportunity to find out more around all aspects involved in organising a showstopper event of this scale.
