College partner in top five university ranking for Education courses
A College higher education (HE) partner has been rated amongst the highest in the country for Eeducation courses, according to a national league table that lists teaching standards and career progression as top of graduate needs.
University of Huddersfield, the HE institution that validates Teacher Education courses at The City of Liverpool College, is ranked joint fourth of seventy-eight universities analysed in the Guardian Newspaper’s national university league table, which shows how the institutions compare across fifty-four areas of study.
The guide shows the performance of every major UK higher education institution and was compiled in collaboration with an expert review group of professionals from leading UK universities. It used official data from the Higher Education Statistics Agency and the Higher Education Funding Council’s National Student Survey.
The table stands out from other league tables that place research scores as a priority and puts the emphasis on aspects of university life that matter most to students, including teaching excellence and finding work after graduation.
